Skateboard Design Gallery

Recently we did a project for a local skate company startup. They were looking to enter the print on demand skate market with some fresh designs. The guys at their shop had a lot of cool ideas, but no graphic design chops to make them happen, and they were in a relative bind with funding the full cost of artwork up front. We decided to put our heads together about it and we worked out a pretty great licensing deal that works for everyone involved. Together with their shop and ours we came up with an awesome lineup of board designs.. All in all we put together about 50 designs, and out of 50 designs wanted to license 20 of them for the first run of boards. Soon people all over the world will be riding on our designs. Check out some of the winning designs below. If you hover over a design the description will pop up and you can read a little more about each design.

This skateboard was inspired by a beautiful landscape. Considering most board companies don't use the canvas of a board for classic inspired art we decided to give it a shot. We think it looks pretty nice for a skateboard. Almost good enough to hand on the wall !

Ehlers-Danlos Awareness

This piece was inspired by a local artist trying to bring attention to a rare genetic condition called Ehlers-danlos syndrome. This condition was originally the cause of most of the circus freaks called the amazing bendable man, or flexible woman. Nearly every performer in the circus doing these types of feats originally had this condition. Beyond the novelty of it, is is also a extremely painful condition to suffer from.
